We keep going over this.

Weather is weather and climate is climate. A 100 degree day in February in Oklahoma no more proves climate change than does a late May snowstorm in the Midwest.

When there is a late spring snowstorm — as there has been in recent years — deniers push a “cold story” at the end of summer as “proof” that climate change is a hoax, all the supporters — — rightly — — leap to their feet and yell “weather’s not climate.”

It is just as disingenuous to point to a hot day in February as evidence that climate change is real.

Weather is variable and volatile from year to year. Climate change is a long term trend.
