Awesome article. On a minor tangent I have one small comment; I disagree with the premise of hiring a woman to encourage more women to join. Hiring the most qualified regardless of gender or race, religion etc is the only way to ensure and encourage a level playing field. If a woman is the most qualified and that encourages other women to join because they have an equal chance based on merit, then that is the best possible way to get more women to join IMHO.
