3) Snake Island off Corbyn’s Cove beach

If you survey the Snake Island off Corbyn’s Cove beach, it will not be difficult for you to realise that it is one of the most challenging places for Scuba Diving in India. It is situated at a distance of 7 KM from Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is a semi-circular in shape.

The perfidious currents in this water make it very dangerous and this is the sole reason behind the strict prohibition of swimming in these waters. You are allowed to scuba dive and be a spectator to the Elysium under the water, but only when a trained instructor accompanies you. It has an overabundance of the deep-sea life consists of goatfish, triggerfish, rays and grunts. The best time to visit this place is during the months of October to May especially if you are an adrenaline junkie.

4) Cinque Island

One of the most enchanting isles from the chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman is the Cinque Island. After travelling for 3 ½ hours from Wandoor by a boat one can reach this beautiful place.

There is absolutely no human settlement here which is why it is absolutely stunning, dirt-free and untarnished. An alluring aquatic life is what this place is granted with which is at once rich and commendable. This is another place where scuba diving feels just heavenly.

July and August are the best months for a visit especially if you want to cherish nature’s bounty to the fullest with your friends and family. The months of September to December see a multitude of tourists from around the world hence it is not an apt time for a visit.
