Marketing Stratis
Chris Trew, CEO of Stratis, announced that Stratis invested over $500,000 in hiring two PR experts. He mentioned we will now start to see the positive effects of Strat’s concentrated marketing efforts.
The ultimate goal is to bring in geolocation-specific PR firms for different world territories. This is very exciting news! It’s important to remember Stratis got as far as it has from an initial fund of only $600,000. They’ve organically remained a top-40 coin without almost any marketing spends whatsoever. I look forward to experiencing how far things will go now that Strat’s serious marketing efforts kick in. To me, this is also a sign that fully working Strat product releases are just around the corner…
Preparing for Delhi
Stratis presents the Blockchain Conference in Delhi, India on 12 April, quickly followed by the C# Corner Conference on 13–14 April in Delhi.
Then, they will fly from India back to London and immediately dive into the huge Blockchain Expo at London’s Olympia Event Center on 18–19 April.
Strat will present their newly released full node, full node GUI and smart contracts in C# at the above conferences for the first time, which is also pretty exciting!

Stratis live on Abra
Recently, Abra Global announced that Stratis will be added to their platform, and just last week, Abra formally announced that Stratis is now live on their platform.

From Slack to Discord
Stratis is in the process of migrating their community from Slack to Discord. Since this move beginning, lots of people have newly joined Discord.
We will slowly be closing down Strat’s Slack channels, and, in the end, only #bot-testing will remain! For anyone who still has $STRAT in their tipbot balance, please withdraw them as soon as you can.

Myco, one of the earliest and most amazing Stratis community members, just launched the Stratis Development Foundation (SDF). This new foundation will provide opportunities for developers to earn bounties. It’s a great place to get started with blockchain development, get in touch with other Stratis blockchain developers and learn more about the development side of Stratis.
