Happy Birthday

On 9 August, 2016, the Stratis blockchain came alive. Two years of steady development has passed, and happy 2nd birthday to Stratis! Congratulations to everyone.

It’s amazing to see how far Stratis has come in these last two years — from an ICO with $ 600.000 raised and only two people working on Stratis to a well-established business with a multi-million valuation, over thirty-five full-time employees worldwide and a community of thousands! It’s incredible to see how far it’s all come along, not only with the Stratis Full Node coming to completion, but also other projects like Stratis Sidechains and Smart Contracts in C# making an impact.

Smart Contracts Update

Last week, the Stratis Smart Contracts team redeployed an even more robust and improved Smart Contracts network. Here is an overview of the changes:

Jordan Andrews, the lead developer of the Stratis Smart Contracts team, also mentioned Stratis is very close to launching Smart Contracts on a Proof of Stake (PoS) test network, a huge milestone for Smart Contracts development.

First Masternodes are Tumbling

Stratis released their Breeze Privacy Protocol recently, which enables Tumblebit technology to allow for decentralized privacy for Bitcoin. The first Masternodes were set-up last week, and Bitcoins have been tumbling.

How to connect a Masternode?

Thanks to community member ‘ElectronLion’ there are now a couple of easy guides on how to set up a Masternode.
