Stratis and Microsoft

On October 24, 2018 Stratis announced that they have become a certified Microsoft Partner. This will help Stratis with their mission to get C# blockchain in front of enterprise customers. You can read their announcement over here.

The Azure Marketplace gives app and service providers access to 120,000 enterprise customers and 800,000 ecosystem partners in 190 countries. Microsoft actively helps to guide customers to their partners, and partners are given resources which allow them to increase their product’s exposure on Microsoft’s Go-To-Market Services.

Stratis is the first blockchain company with their own cryptocurrency to parnter with Microsoft in this way, and this partnership will help them to make the most of their unique position within Microsoft’s software environment. Stratis mentioned that for them this is just a first step in enhancing their relationship with Microsoft.

Chris Trew, the CEO of Stratis, mentioned the following:

This partnership gets me very excited indeed. I am looking forward to working with Microsoft’s Go-To-Market Team and further leveraging the Azure technology stack with the Stratis Platform.

Stratis and Microsoft in the Media

The partnership between Stratis and Microsoft generated a lot of articles through various media. The most exciting ones, in my opinion, are the following articles:

Here is an overview of some of the other great articles that have been published about the partnership last week:

Stratis and Microsoft Further Explanation

Last week there was a lot of buzz about the Stratis and Microsoft partnership. There have been a lot of explanations across the board and I wanted to share a few of them with you in order to better understand the partnership.

One of the things that people were asking is why Stratis has a Silver partnership instead of a Gold partnership. As you can see in the picture below the only difference is Co-sell eligibility. Chris already mentioned that the requirement to get a Gold partnership depends on having more customers. He also stated that Stratis is very confident in achieving this in their first year.

Another thing a lot of people stated is that this is nothing more than a paid partnership which any company could easily get. I would like to state that if it was simple, why aren’t there are other blockchain platforms with a currency doing the same? Chris had the following to say about it:

We are a Microsoft ISV, which means we did not get this partnership via what we spend, in-fact it had nothing to do with it.

On top of that Chris showed the requirements of Stratis getting this partnership:

Stratis Community

The Stratis Community is one of the most amazing things that I have ever been part of. I can proudly say that I am a big part of it since the ICO and that a lot of the ‘old timers’ are still around and helping out.

Together with newcomers the Stratis community has always been a real value for the Stratis Platform. Recently we opened a new channel on the Stratis Discord called “Community-incentives”. You can join our Discord over here.

This is a place where the community can work together in a good structure and help each other out. Over the years the Stratis community has released a lot of content already and I am looking forward to all the new content that will be released in the future.

I would like to thank every single Stratis Platform investor and community member for all of your support! You guys have been great since day one and never stop to amaze me. One goal, one team and one mission.

New Office

Jeremy Bokokbza Head of Engineer for Stratis Platform shared the following picture with us:

Stratis is moving to offices that will be better suited to their needs and requirements and that will allow them to be laser-focused on the work.

Jeremy also shared a first glance at the new office:

Development Update

Last week Jeremy gave an update on the development of Stratis Platform:

Stratis Review by Chainbits

Last week Chainbits released their review about Stratis Platform which is called “Stratis (STRAT) Review — Building Blockchain for Enterprise”. You can read their review over here.

GLUON

GLUON announced their ICO a few months ago, which will be the first ICO to launch from the Stratis ICO platform. This week, GLUON released new information about their project:

That’s it for now. All the best to everyone!
