“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”

Scott Adam said remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.

Can we imagine a world where no one gave to each other? Where we all just looked after our own needs but ignored everyone else. This would surely be a miserable place to live, for ultimately, whether spontaneous or planned, we cannot be happy without being kind, by giving and caring for each other.

Random acts of kindness are essential to our well being, as they help us to come out of the box of self-obsession, selfishness, and isolation.True generosity is giving without expectation, with no need to be repaid in any form. This is the most powerful act of generosity, as it is unconditional, unattached, and free to land wherever it will. Whether we give to our family, friends, or to strangers, it is the same.

Random acts of kindness in our professional and social life help us to make more stronger relationship without any expectations.I would like to share some of my act of kindness in my professional and social life I tried out to get into a habit of this.

  1. While working with your colleagues if we find someone facing difficulties to manage his work or meeting to deadlines we can ask him/her to help him?her to get out of that situation and I tried it to help someone which was not included in my formal responsibilities.
  2. As I am working in HR many workers come to the department with their compensation and benefits related and other social security related issues and I observe that the HR officers mostly treat them in a inappropriate way which demotivates them. Many time I try to ask them for having a seat and asking for a glass of water.I think it really create a sense of respect for the workers and for me as well.
  3. At my village everyone having issue with their smart phone(Issues related to play store/App store ID, sim card settings, mobile data setting and even for taking a cheap mobile internet and call packages) they come to me.Most of the time I was sleeping in the morning and someone knock at door and ask to my parents for me saying that its emergency and when I come out he will say my son just change the settings of my phone and now its data connection is not working will you please help me.I know that its not my formal responsibility but I just try to do it as a act of kindness.
  4. Yesterday I make a breakfast for my parents and I think we should also engage our self in helping our parents in housekeeping activities.
  5. My house is located in front of bus stop and recently I decided that I will offer help to the people especially aged and other carrying heavy bags to get them their homes on my bike.
