My wife and I recently had a conversation in which I lamented that I would have preferred the life of a nomad. With my IT consulting background we could live anywhere. We could pack a few necessities and move from place to place living maybe 2–3 years in one place before moving on. She seemed nervous but I explained that we only really need a few things. For me that’s a some dress slacks, and shirts, some jeans and t-shits, a MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone, and my DSLR and 24–70mm lens, dress shoes, sneakers, and hiking boots, and a shaving kit, a mechanical pencil, and moleskine notebook.
