Sharing the 6 tips with your classmate

I shared these tips with of one of my classmates as both of us are very keen to find a job nowadays.

Sharing the tips with her helped me to better grasp the idea behind these tips as I explained these to her with the help of my personal experiences. She initially became confused about the first tip of aligning her passion with the career so I related an example to explain it to her. It was a learning discussion.

After the 2nd tip which was “Decisions are very unique to each person, what’s right for one isn’t right for the other”, she gave me a really thoughtful example of her future decision that was right for her but might not prove good for me.

She disagreed with the last tip that was Spend at least one year in your first job so I gave her example that it leave a good expression on your CV if you spend less than 1 year on your job and spending more time with an organization helps you to learn about their working environment. So then she became convinced by me.

Overall it was more of a healthy discussion where we got to learn from each others’s experiences. I learned an important lesson from this activity which is:

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
