Clean Chennai: An Initiative to Reduce, Reuse & Recycle Garbage

Clean Chennai is an initiative of Corporation of Chennai to catalyze a city-wide swing in citizens’ attitudes towards solid waste — ownership, treatment, and management. Their objective is to engage the active support of all participants — rag pickers, inhabitants, commercial founding, institutions and others to manage the solid waste in an naturally, publicly, and economically viable manner.

In the very first phase of this great initiative they are pointing the matter of littering by approaching to the local citizens to make them realize their role and communal responsibility in producing a clean and viable environment across the city.
