GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 1

It all starts in the North, at Winterfell. (Here’s an awesome Winterfell phone case for you) Lord Ned Stark is the warden of the North. He has a wife, Catelyn Stark. His sons are Robb, who is the eldest, Brandon, who likes to climb things and Rickon, who doesn’t really matter. He also has two daughters, Sansa who is pretty and Arya who is a Tomboy. Jon Snow is his Bastard child, who nobody likes. One day, randomly, they all get their own personal wolf puppies, who are super cute btw!

Now Kings Landing is the capital, and the largest city, of the Seven Kingdoms, located on the East Coast of Westeros. (Very confusing, I know!) Since the old Hand of the king (i.e, the guy who does all of the actual work), Jon Arryn dies, Fat King Robert Baratheon, comes all the way to Westeros,

with his Wife and Queen, Cersei Lannister, who’s a conniving bitch, her twin brother Jamie Lannister, who’s really handsome, her other brother Tyrion Lannister, who is a tits and wine loving dwarf (Tyrion fan? Get this awesome Tyrion T-shirt) and Prince Joffrey Baratheon who is the heir of King Robert and is also a giant douche, Princess Myrcella and Prince Tommen!

I Drink and I Know Things Phone case

King Rob offers Ned stark the position of the new Hand of the king, since they are old War pals, to which Ned reluctantly agrees. They’re also gonna marry off Prince Joffrey to Sansa Stark. Everyone is Happy, but only temporarily. One fine day, when most of the Lannisters and the Starks are out on a hunting trip, Bran stays back because apparently climbing walls is more important. While climbing a huge tower, he accidentally and unfortunately witnesses Queen Cersei and her brother Jamie Lannister banging each other.

So Jamie pushes him out the window to his presumed death, in order to keep his incestuous relationship with his sister a secret!

Somehow the boy survives, although, crippled for life. One night an assassin comes to kill Bran as he is asleep but is saved by his wolf. Catelyn suspects the Lannisters to be behind the attack as she gets to know that the Dagger that the assassin used to kill Bran belonged to Tyrion Lannister.

Robb Stark is put in charge of the kingdom at Winterfell while Eddard Stark, Sansa and Arya head South with King Robert and his family to join him as a hand in King’s Landing. Catelyn Stark stays back to take care of her children. She travels undercover to King’s Landing to warn her husband that the Lannisters might be up to something. Jon Snow decides to head to Castle Black in the North with his uncle Benjen and join the Night’s Watch (Check out this Night’s Watch tee) in a war to defend the realm from everything that’s on the other side of the wall

which includes Wildlings, barbarians and also creepy ice zombies called the White Walkers. Tyrion joins them, for fun.

Across the narrow sea, there’s a completely different story going on. On the continent of Essos, live the surviving heirs of the ex-king — Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen.

Because Viserys is a cruel loser, he sells his younger sister, Daenerys, into marriage to the Dothraki tribal warlord, Khal Drogo, in exchange for his army to reclaim the stolen kingdom (the iron throne) that was rightfully his to rule.

Khal Me Maybe T-shirt

Since Daenerys is married to the Khal, she’s now called Khaleesi (Shop this super cool Khaleesi T-shirt) by the rest of the Dothraki tribe. As her wedding gift, she receives three fancy dragon eggs (as opposed to a dinner set) that are thought to have turned to stone. At first Daenerys isn’t a fan of this arrangement, but overtime she falls in love with her new husband, grows into her role as the Khaleesi and learns the Dothraki language and customs.

Khaleesi Poster

Angry that Drogo has not lived up to his part of the bargain, Viserys grows impatient and tries to threaten Drogo and Daenerys which was a very stupid move on his part, cuz it resulted in his death.

Back in King’s Landing, Ned investigates the unexplained death of Jon Arryn (Ex hand of the king) while Sansa becomes engaged to Prince Joffrey and Arya begins to learn how to fight with a sword.

Ned Stark discovers a dark secret after some research. He learns that all of the previous Baratheon heirs have had black hair until Cersei Bore Robert’s children, who are all BLONDE. Hmmmm. Fishy. He confronts Cersei about this and suggests her to leave the kingdom before he tells King Robert about it.

In the worst case of bad timing ever, King Robert gets fatally injured on one of his hunting trips, because of which Ned decides to hold back the big gossip he just found out about. But before completely dying, the King dictates a letter to Ned, naming Ned Protector of the Realm after he dies.

After his death, Joffrey takes over the throne, despite Ned’s status granted to him by the King.

Ned tries to raise his voice against it but Joffrey orders for his execution, and Ned ends up losing both, his claim to the throne and his head! Ta-da!

Following his execution, Arya escapes King’s Landing but Sansa stays back with the new King Joffrey. Hearing about his Father’s death, Robb Stark declared himself the King in the North. He forms an army and sets out to destroy the Lannisters.

King in the North T-shirt

At Castle Black, Jon too, hears of Ned’s death and rides off to face the Lannisters. However, his new bff Samwell Tarly and a few others stop him, reminding him of his vows to the Night’s Watch. Jon decides to return to Castle Black.

Tyrion, who is also at Castle Black, is told by Maester Aemon and the Commander about the need of more trained men and support as apart from the wildlings there are other darker things waiting for them on the other side of the wall, and when the time comes, there won’t be enough men at Castle Black to hold them down.. So Tyrion randomly decides to take a midnight piss from the top of the wall, cuz YOLO and leaves for the south, promising that he’ll try to send more troops to Castle Black.

In the meantime, Daenerys learns that she is pregnant with Drogo’s child and begins to find her place and her power within the tribe. She nearly escapes death when one of the assassins sent by Robert Baratheon (when he was alive) tries to kill her and her unborn child (who could have a claim to the Iron Throne). As she starts to become popular among the Dothraki, one of Drogo’s warriors challenges Daenerys’s growing power, Drogo kills the warrior, but suffers a chest wound.

During a witchcraft ceremony authorized by Daenerys to try to heal and revive Drogo, Daenerys goes into labor. She gives birth to a stillborn child. Drogo’s condition worsens. Unable to see the love of her life like this, Dany decides to end his suffering by suffocating him to death. She then constructs a funeral pyre for Drogo and later, like a badass, walks into the flames with her three Dragon eggs.

Next morning, she emerges, completely unharmed, though we can’t say the same about her clothes, while three newly hatched baby dragons are clinging to her and everyone who stayed behind with her are completely taken aback like WOAHHH. They swear their loyalty to her as Queen and hail her as the Mother of Dragons. (Btw, have a look at this awesome Mother of Dragons tee). That’s it for Season 1. It keeps getting crazier as it goes.

GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 2

Hey everyone, let’s get back to the happy times, that is, the world of Game Of Thrones. By now you must have learned that this show is not afraid to kill off your favourite characters right when you start to fall in love with them.

Okay so, picking up from where we left off, Joffrey is the new King in Westeros, with the Lannisters’ support behind him, Ned Stark is dead. Arya disguised herself as a boy and flees Kings Landing. Sansa is still betrothed to the nasty King Joffrey. Khal Drogo is dead and Daenerys is now left with three baby dragons and whatever is left of the Dothraki people.

Robb’s army is at war with the Lannisters (because they cut off his father’s head). He somehow manages to capture Jamie Lannister by tricking him. But his cleverness ends there as all the decisions he makes after this are Stupid AF. He realises that he will need more help in order to defeat the Lannisters. He comes up with the brilliant idea of sending his trusted childhood friend,

Theon Greyjoy (who is the living son and heir of Lord Balon Greyjoy of the Iron Islands and has been living with the Starks since his childhood as a ward/hostage) back to his Father’s Kingdom to ask for allegiance/help to fight the Lannisters. But Theon is very confused in life, so when he meets up with his long lost Dad, who doesn’t hesitate to insult him after every other sentence, he decides to back stab Robb Stark and seize Winterfell instead. That was his way of proving himself to his Dad and countrymen. But since he was an idiot, his own men betray him and ship him off to House Bolton in exchange for mercy. Lol.

Bran Stark escapes Winterfell, along with his brother Rickon and his friends Hodor, and a wildling servant named Osha.

They are advised to head North, to Castle Black where Jon Snow is serving as the Night’s Watch.

Back in King’s Landing, Joffrey is ruling, and by ruling I mean torturing and tormenting everyone around him.

Tywin Lannister, aka the Lannister Daddy, sends Tyrion to Kings Landing to act as the Hand of the King and to make sure Joffrey doesn’t do anything stupid.

Talk To The Hand T-shirt

Meanwhile, recently deceased king Robert Baratheon has two brothers, Stannis and Renly. Nobody likes Stannis except for his trusted advisor, Sir Davos and this weird priestess who is a firm believer in the Lord of Light, Melisandre, she keeps burning people and saying “the night is Dark and full of terrors” throughout the entire series! Not Kidding!

Renly Baratheon (who is secretly Gay) is married to Marjaery Tyrell. The Tyrells (Check out our House Tyrell phone case) are also super rich and super powerful btw. Both Stannis and Renly start to fight for their claim to the Iron throne after realising about Joffrey’s “unique” heritage and the fact that he is not really Robert’s son.

Robb Stark sends his mom, Catelyn to Renly Baratheon to ask them to join forces in order to beat the Lannisters. It’s all going good and according to plan when suddenly, Renly is killed by a Black shadow (yes, exactly!) conspired by Stannis and his Lady friend Melisandre.

Catelyn flees, along with Renly’s badass Kingsguard, Brienne of Tarth. After making her way back to Robb’s camp again, Catelyn Stark secretly (and idiotically) releases Jaime and tasked the lady-knight Brienne (who has now sworn her loyalty to Catelyn) with escorting him home. Why? Because he promised to send back her captive daughters in return, and for basically no reason she believed him. All this while, Robb is busy meeting up with this random nurse, falls in love with her and decides to marry her, despite his mom advising him not to and completely ignoring the fact that he promised to marry Frey’s ugly daughter because back in Season 1, the Freys helped his troops cross this huge bridge. Such YOLO, much SWAG.

With Renly out of the picture, Stannis invades the Blackwater with a huge naval force (The Battle of the Blackwater) with the intention of taking over King’s Landing but loses the battle and retreats, all thanks to Tyrion’s bravery and cunning tactics, who was serving there as the Hand of the King. Tyrion repels Stannis’s forces with explosive wildfire which keeps the enemies at bay until Tywin Lannister gallops to the rescue along with the Tyrell’s forces who joined hands with the Lannisters.

After the war, Joffrey makes Tywin Hand of the King, replacing Tyrion. He then dumps Sansa for Marjaery Tyrell, who is newly widowed after Renly’s death.

Now, across the sea, it’s proving a long and aimless road for Khaleesi, her baby dragons and her shrinking Dothraki army who eventually come to the City of Quarth, where the people are reluctant to help except for this one guy who lets her and her group in. The guy, called Xaro, offers her help but only if she agrees to marry him. But her advisor, Jorah Mormont advises her against it (mostly because he has a secret crush on her).

Anyway, she later comes to find that her Dragons have been stolen. She somehow manages to find the dragons and learns that Xaro was behind it all, so she takes his money and gold and locks him in a vault for the rest of his life. She manages to buy a Ship that can take her to Westeros. Woo-hoo!

Back in Westeros, Arya, along with Gendry (Robert Baratheon’s bastard son) and a few others is taken to Harrenhal, which is a ruined castle that the Lannisters have, where she makes friends with an awesome Braavosi assassin by saving his life who, in return, gives her a mysterious coin. (Get a cool Valar Morghulis T-shirt for yourself! )

On a random visit to Harenhall, Tywin Lannister spots Arya and appoints her as his cup-bearer/ servant. Also, he has no idea that she’s a Stark.

Up in the North, Jon Snow with a few other members of the Night’s watch, goes ranging beyond the wall and comes across a group of wildlings, both the groups fight each other, all the wildlings are killed except for this one lady called Ygritte. Jon Snow is given the responsibility to execute her, but he can’t do it cuz he’s a big wuss and also because he realises she might be his only chance to get laid and decides to keep her alive instead. Also, both Ygritte and Jon end up getting lost in the mountains. They sleep the night out.

Next morning Ygritte takes him to her wildling buddies, who take Jon Snow prisoner. (Check out our Wildling t-shirt)

GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 3

This is the season where all of the actors have gone through puberty.

Season 2 ends with Jon being captured by the wildlings, who take him to the King beyond the wall, Mance Rayder. They agree that they have a common enemy in the walkers. Jon ends up joining the wildlings to gain their trust. He thus spends most of the season 3 getting to know the wildlings and their leader and hanging out with his new lady love Ygritte. But he fails to keep them in the dark for too long when the Wildlings ask him to kill a few innocent people and as usual, he wusses out.You seriously know Nothing Jon Snow! *eyeroll*

Ygritte who is totally pissed obviously feels betrayed and shoots a few arrows at him, but doesn’t really kill him because she actually likes him. Jon Snow, now with a few arrows stuck in his leg and back, manages to ride back to Castle Black.

His other friends, Sam and gang, who were also behind the wall, encounter the White Walker’s army and somehow manage to save themselves.

They go back to Craster’s Keep, go crazy and kill Craster as well as Lord Commander Mormont in a fight that breaks out out of nowhere. Sam escapes with his lady crush Gilly (one of Crasters daughters/wife) and her new born son. They reach Castle Black, where they warn Maester Aemon about the army of White Walkers seen north of the Wall.

Bran, Rickon and the rest of the Gang, on the other hand, who are on their way to Castle Black, in the hope to meet up with big bro Jon, encounter super-siblings Jojen and Meera Reed who are Stark allies, and their journey takes quite a turn. Also, Since Bran’s big fall, he has been having weird visions of random things in his dreams. Anyway, after meeting up with them, Bran figures out that he has all those disturbing visions because he is a Warg (a warg being someone who can enter the minds of animals and less intelligent humans and control their actions) Jojen, too, has similar powers like Bran.

Bran starts using his new-found power running around through the eyes of his direwolf Summer, who also has been accompanying them from the beginning. He decides to not meet up with Jon Snow and go beyond the wall to look for the three-eyed raven that keeps emerging in his dreams. So, Osha takes Rickon, to the Umbers, who are friends with the Stark family, while the rest of them stay back to head past the wall.

Robb Stark, who has been continuously making dumb decisions since season 2, doesn’t stop there. As a result, he loses momentum and realises he will, after all need to ask Walder Frey for assistance. Frey is the guy whose daughter he promised to marry in exchange for their help to fight the Lannisters.

Also, the nurse that he married back in season 2, Talisa, announces that she is pregnant with his child. Frey agrees to help him, again. But this time, in return for his cooperation, Frey wants to marry off his daughter to Robb’s uncle Edmure Tully, Lord of Riverrun. All is cool, everyone agrees. But then, on the Day of the Wedding, Frey betrays the entire Stark family and slaughters them during the wedding feast.

Turns out Walder Frey was still a bit pissed about Robb Stark’s secret marriage to Talisa, so he made a side deal with the Lannisters and Roose Bolton, who deceived Robb Stark as well.

Arya Stark spends most of the season 3 trying desperately to reconnect with her family. On her way, she unfortunately finds herself traveling in the company of Sandor Clegane also famously known as “The Hound”, the ex-personal bodyguard of King Joffrey.

He plans to deliver Arya back to her mother, for a fee, of course. She finally manages to reach The Twins, where the Starks were, but reaches just in time to witness the chaotic aftermath of this wedding, famously known as the Red Wedding.

Red Wedding T-shirt

She was so close to be reunited with her fam. Damn. The Hound and Arya continue with their journey. She kills a man on the way who mocks her now dead family. And as far as she knows, she’s pretty much the last Stark left. She determines to avenge her family and goes from being a cute tomboy to a serious revenge seeking murderer.

After siding with the Lannisters, backstabber Roose Bolton is named Warden of the North. He hands the responsibility of the North to his deranged sadistic bastard son, Ramsay Snow, who spends most of his time torturing poor Theon Greyjoy, who got knocked out by his own people back in season 2. Ramsay makes him his new play toy and names him Reek. He strips him not only of his dignity and sense of self, but also his penis! Basically, everything really sucks for Theon Greyjoy in season 3.

Stannis, on the other hand, after his failed attempt at taking over the Iron Throne and defeating the Lannisters at Blackwater Bay, mostly lays low in the whole of Season 3. He still doesn’t stop blindly following whatever bullshit the creepy Red Woman tells him in the hope that he will one day ascend the throne as the rightful king. The Red woman, Melisandre is now obsessed with the magical powers of the king’s blood and uses Gendry, the illegitimate son of Ex-king Robert Baratheon to do blood magic. They plan on killing Gendry after using his blood for the ritual. But sir Devos, Stannis’ advisor, finds out about their scheme and slyly sends Gendry away on a boat. Davos also warns Stannis of the message he receives from the Night’s Watch, explaining the threat of the White Walkers and they all come to the conclusion that the threat worth fighting is actually in the north at the Wall. Way to go!

Brienne of Tarth is on her way to King’s Landing along with Jamie Lannister in tow, but they end up being captured by some of Bolton’s men who cut off Jamie’s fighting hand.

When Roose Bolton gets to know about this, he releases Jamie as a show of good faith to the Lannisters. Jamie on his way back realises that he is actually a good human being deep inside and goes back to save Brienne from a Bear attack.

The duo then arrive back to King’s landing and Jamie reunites with her lover/sister Cersei at the very end of the season.

The Lannisters, even in Season 3, remain a force not to be fucked with.

House Lannister T-shirt

Westeros is still in a chaos because Joffrey is still the King, so obviously. The psychopath got betrothed to Lady Marjaery Tyrell, who’s a catch for the brat btw. Tywin, who was made the Hand of the King realises that they need as much of political support as they can get. So, he forces Tyrion to marry Sansa Stark,

and Cersei to marry Lorres Tyrell, Marjaery’s brother. He makes Tyrion, our most favourite Lannister, The master of coins. He also promotes Petyr Baelish (previously the master of coin, and the master mind behind many of the main events that have occurred up till now) to the Lord of Harrenhal and orders that he sail off to Eyrie to marry Lysa Arryn (Catelyn Stark’s sister).

Over in Essos, Daenerys is busy building her army. With the help of her dragons, she first buys then frees several thousand Unsullied (eunuch slaves trained in combat), she then frees the entire slave population of the city of Yunaki, who praise her as “Mother” and voluntarily join her army. Dany is killing it in Season 3, way to go gal!

Ser Barristan Selmy reveals himself to Daenerys in Astapor, He was previously Joffrey’s Kingsguard way back in Season 1, who gets chucked out because of his old age but mostly because Joffrey is an asshole. He offers her his services as the military advisor, which she accepts. She also meets with Daario Nahaaris, who was one of the three leaders of the Second Sons. He kills his two partners who were conspiring to kill Daenerys and declares himself now loyal to Daenerys.

Jorah Mormont, Dany’s existing advisor, who secretly has a crush on her, doesn’t look too happy about it tho.

Phew, that was a lot of information to cover!

GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 4

In Season 3, we learned that the wildlings are making their way to the wall with the white walkers not very far behind. Joffrey and Marjaery are about to get married, Khaleesi is showing people how things are done in Slaver’s Bay. Arya Stark has become all independent and murder-y. Jon Snow is not a wildling in disguise anymore. Castle Black is on the verge of being attacked, and it’s difficult to say by whom or what. Bran, on the other hand, is desperately searching for the three eyed Raven. It’s okay, one can’t be blamed if memories of a certain wedding have blurred out all the other not so happy memories of the show.

Okay, so the best thing that happens in Season 4 is the Death of Joffrey (finally!) and we cannot be more thrilled about it.

The only one truly upset at his demise is his mother. It’s sad for Tyrion though, because even though he is innocent, he is suspected to have poisoned Joffrey on the day of his wedding with Marjaery Tyrell, and is put behind bars. This season keeps getting worse by the day for Tyrion as even his lover, Shae, lies to the court, testifies against him during the trial leaving poor Tyrion heartbroken and guilty in front of the court. Tyrion opts for Trial by Combat

Keep Calm and Demand Trial by Combat T-shirt

and Prince Oberyn Martell, younger brother of Doran Martell, who was invited to attend the wedding, volunteers to fight for him against Ser Gregor Clegane, aka, the Mountain, as he wants to avenge his sister’s death who was raped and killed by The Mountain some twenty years back. They fight. And let’s just say it doesn’t end well for Oberyn.

As a result, Tyrion gets sentenced to death by Tywin. Jamie helps Tyrion escapes from the prison, but before leaving, Tyrion makes a quick pitstop to his father’s room, where he finds his ex-Lover Shae lying on his father’s bed. He chokes her to death and then shoots his father dead with a crossbow while he was doing his business in the toilet.

All this while, Tyrion’s new wife, Sansa Stark has already left the city with Petyr Baelish and seeks refuge with her aunt Lysa Arryn, who Baelish marries. Now Lysa is a little crazy in the head. Gets jealous of her new husband’s attraction to Sansa and attempts to kill her by throwing her out of the moon door. But Baelish however has other ideas, and steps in to hurl Lysa to her death instead.

Also, just so you know. It later comes to light that it was Petyr Baelish and Lady Olenna Tyrell (Maraery’s mom) who were actually the ones behind Joffrey’s death.

Arya, who’s been hanging out with the Hound, who planned on returning her to her aunt Lysa Arryn. They run into Brienne of Tarth and Podrick (Tyrion’s ex squire) on their way, who are searching for Sansa and Arya Stark to keep the promise she made to their mother, Catelyn Stark. The hound and Arya both don’t believe her. Brienne and the Hound then enter a deadly fight over Arya’s custody.

Brienne eventually wins and the Hound is badly wounded. Arya escapes while the two are fighting and manages to catch a ship sailing to Braavos.

Stannis Baratheon realises he’s poor. With his advisor, Davos’ help, he manages to get a loan from the Iron Bank in Braavos to pay for a new army.

Back in castle Black, Jon finally gets some respect. He leads the battle to save castle Black against the wildlings.

Wildling T-shirt

Loses his wildling lady love, Ygritte in the war. Realizes that they won’t be able to keep the wildlings out for too long as the Wildlings are huge in number as compared to the Night’s watch. Goes beyond the wall to make peace with the Wildling leader Mance Raydar. While Jon is there, Stannis’ army arrives and overruns the wildling army.

Further North, Bran eventually comes across the place he has been seeing in his dreams, which is the Heart tree. They are attacked by undead creatures. In the midst of all this, Jojen is stabbed to death by the little zombies.

The rest of the gang, however, is saved by other weird but helpful creatures called Children of the forest. After the battle, Bran meets a man near the tree, who happens to be the three eyed raven they had been looking for all along. He tells him things like “while he may never walk again, he will fly” which sounds like a pretty good deal to me. He also says he’s gonna teach Bran magic. Sweeet!

Ramsay, who has been enjoying tormenting poor Theon Greyjoy all this while, who now only responds to the name “Reek” given to him by Ramsay.

Ramsay tells him to pretend to be Theo Greyjoy again and go to this castle nearby that the Ironborn hold, ask them to surrender, which he obediently does. When they open the gates, Ramsay’s troops attack the castle and murder and flay them all. Roose Bolton acknowledges Ramsay as his legitimate son and they all head to Winterfell.

Daenerys, on the other hand, is concerned that her Dragons are growing bigger, wilder and unruly by the day.

Khaleesi Dragon T-shirt

She leads her army to Meereen, the last remaining slave city. Daario fights against the champion of Meereen for Daenerys and wins. She then frees the slaves there as well. She orders the masters of the city to be crucified in the same way they crucified slave children. She tells Sir Jorah that he plans to rule Slaver’s Bay. During her rule, people complain that her dragons have been attacking them and their cattle. Due to which Daenerys is forced to lock up two of her misbehaving dragons while the third one is nowhere to be found. She then fools around with the new sexy addition to her group Daario and exiles Jorah for spying on her back when he worked as an informer for Robert Baratheon.

GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 5

Season 4 was a roller-coaster of shocks and emotions that it was hard to keep up with everything that was going on. A lot of major characters, both loved and loathed, died last season! Read on to catch the essentials from season 5!

With Tywin Dead, Cersei’s youngest son, Tommen, assumes the throne and marries the wicked Marjorie Tyrell who seduces him into sending Cersei back to Casterly Rock so that she gets out of her hair.

Cersei feels that she’s losing out on her power and is not being able to control the kingdom through her children anymore, so she reintroduces Faith Militant, which is the army branch of the faith of the Seven, which is one dormant army arresting people who engage in sinful activities.

She does this in an effort to maintain some power and leverage over her kingdom. The Seven go crazy and as a part of cleaning up the city of virtueless individuals, they arrest Marjaery’s brother Loras for homosexuality, Marjaery for lying about Loras’ indiscretions and even Cersei for her own incestuous relationships. Hah karma!

Cersei confesses to cheating on her late husband Robert with her cousin Lancel, who is now a member of the Sparrow, but denies sleeping with her brother Jamie. She is granted freedom until her trial but is forced to strip down and walk a path of shame through the city, with people of King’s Landing spitting on her, marking the beginning of her emotional and mental downfall.

Shame -Game of Thrones T-shirt

Tyrion is being smuggled from King’s Landing, by Lord Varys, who too decides to leave Kings Landing along with Tyrion.

They sail across the sea, where Varys plans on making Tyrion meet Daenerys, who he thinks is the right person with the right family background to rule Westeros.

The Imp T-shirt

They stop at a brothel because Tyrion needs tits and wine to survive, where Ser Jorah Mormont, Danny’s №1 fan and ex-advisor who she banished for lying, kidnaps him in order to present him to Daenerys and to get back into her good graces.

Things don’t look too good for Daenerys this season, as a group called the Sons of Harpy, who are against her rule, kill many of the Unsullied warriors and innocent citizens of Meereen and are continuously resorting to violent ways to revolt against her. They also manage to kill Ser Barriston Selmy, one of Daenerys’ most loyal supporter/advisor.

Even though she accepts Tyrion’s help as an advisor, she exiles Jorah once again, but he just won’t give up, so he comes back again but this time, saves Danny from an attack on her life from the Sons of Harpy, but somehow out of nowhere, le wild Drogon appears, kills all the Sons of Harpy and carries Daenerys away from the city.

But when she lands, she finds herself in the middle of Dothraki warriors and is captured by them.

Jorah and Daario go looking for her leaving Tyrion and Lord Varys behind to govern the city!

While all of this is going on, Jamie and Cersei receive a snake in a box from the Martells, with Myrcella’s necklace hanging on it, which was their weird way of threatening to kill Myrcella. Jamie leaves for Dorne immediately, along with Bronn. The Martell’s blame Oberyn’s death on the Lannisters and thus want to kill Myrcella, who was shipped to Doran back in Season 2. Jamie meets with Doran, Oberyn’s big brother who lets them take Myrcella back on the condition that they let Doran’s son, Trystan take Oberyn’s place on the Small Council. Everything is going smoothly, they say their goodbyes and leave. But Myrcella dies on their way back.

Turns out that Oberyn’s Girlfriend gave her a poisonous kiss while they were saying their goodbyes! A kiss of death indeed!

Arya on the other hand, makes it to Braavos, finds her way to the House of Black and white. Starts her training with Jaqen H’ghar and the faceless men, a group of assassins who are able to change their faces at will. She starts with Sweeping the floor and eventually graduates to cleaning dead bodies. She gets her first assassination mission but gets distracted and ends up killing Meryn Trant, the guy who killed her fencing instructor, back in season 1, by stealing one of the faces from the room of many faces.

She gets in big trouble for killing the wrong person and as punishment, ends up getting blind.

Peter Baelish heads to Winterfell along with Sansa Stark, on her way, she is spotted by Brienne and Podrick, who offers her services to Sansa, but Sansa is like I don’t even know you. When she finally returns to her childhood home, she is forced to marry Ramsay, who is really sweet to her for like five minutes but then shows his true self and rapes Sansa, and orders Theon aka Reek to watch.

While the Bolton army is returning from the war, Sansa seizes the moment and escapes Winterfell with Theon’s help.

Stannis, who has Mance Rayder, the King beyond the wall captive, asks him to join his forces and fight for him, to which he refuses. So Stannis burns him alive. He then gives Jon Snow, an offer to join his service and get a chance to rule Winterfell, but Jon also refuses. So Stannis leaves for Winterfell along with his army. On their way, they get snowed in. Their supplies also get burn so Stannis sends Ser Devos back to the wall to arrange for more. Melissandre suggests that they sacrifice his daughter to appease the Gods and make everything work in their favor. So they burn her alive.

But their plan fails as his wife hangs herself out of trauma and half of his forces desert him because he killed his daughter whereas the other half are not enough to withstand Bolton’s forces. The war takes place and Stannis loses, but somehow survives the war. But not for too long as Brienne shows up and kills him, final getting her revenge for Renly’s death.

Back at Castle Black, Jon Snow is elected as the new Lord Commander, with some opposition of course. He decides that they need to let the wildlings come and live south of the wall, in exchange for their alliance to fight against the white walkers. While he is out there, negotiating with the wildlings, they are attacked by the White Walkers, which results in an awesome battle scene. But it turns into World War Z in no time, so he along with the wildlings manage to escape, but witness the Night’s King reviving the dead and turning them into Wights.

Although they lose many men during their epic fight with the zombies, Jon and his team manage to bring quite a few wildlings to safety behind the Castle Black walls. Maester Aemon dies, so Sam and Gilly are sent to the Citadel to learn to become the new Maester. With Maestoer Aemon, Sam and Gilly gone, Jon loses most of his support system and is left with a bunch of men who consider his act of supporting the wildlings treasonous and think of him as a traitor. So they lure him into a trap and stab him multiple times. Jon bleeds to death and now his watch has ended (for now).

That’s a wrap for Season 5!

GAME OF THRONES — SEASON 6

So, GOT Season 5 ended with Jon dead, Arya blind, Daenerys taken as a prisoner by the Dothraki, Cersei with at least one child left (King Tommen) and Winter on its way!

With a lot more deaths, wins, fights, betrayals, revenge and fire, here is a summary of Season 6 for you.

Jon Snow who was betrayed and murdered by his men is taken into a room by Ser Davos, where Mellisandre uses her magic and successfully brings Jon back to life.

Jon hangs all the men that betrayed him and decides to leave the Night’s Watch for good.

Sansa, who escaped With Theon last season, is being chased after by Ramsay’s men but is saved by Brienne and Podrick who then take her to Castle Black, where Sansa reunites with her brother Jon (Such senti, much emotional) and both decide to take back Winterfell from Ramsay.

Theon, who is still filled with guilt for selling out on the Starks, decides to head back to the Greyjoys.

Jon and Sansa go around asking other houses in the North to join hands with them in the war against the Boltons, but are only able to convince Lynna Mormont, who is awesome and only 10 years old, and agrees to lend her army of 62 men in support.

Former Stark ally, Jon Umber, brings Rickon, the most useless Stark, to Ramsay Bolton in Winterfell. Ramsay, who feared losing his power completely, kills his own father

..and then feeds his new born half-brother and mom to the hounds, just in case you forgot how inhumanly pathetic he was.

Jon’s leads his army which comprises of the wildlings, and Lady Mormont’s men at the moment to reclaim Winterfell in the Battle of Bastards, which, by the way, is one of the most epic battles ever!

But right before the battle begins, Ramsay shoots Rickon in the back with an arrow, killing him right in front his brother Jon’s eyes.

The war begins, Jon’s army is on the losing side and right before Ramsay’s army is about to kick Jon’s army’s ass…

Sansa arrives along with Lord Baelish’s army, who then take down Ramsay’s men. At the end of the war, Jon and Ramsay have a dual where Jon beats Ramsay senseless and then hands him over to Sansa to deal with. Sansa feeds him off to his own dogs.

That was some bad ass shit right there! Jon Snow is now the King in the North!

Back in the North, Theon’s father, Balon Greyjoy, meets his younger brother, Euron Greyjoy, near a bridge. The two chat for a bit and then Euron throws Baylon off the bridge. Theon Greyjoy who is now back home, calls for his sister Yara to be crowned the next Queen since her father is dead, but Euron arrives and pushes Yara out of the way to rule the Iron Islands.

But while he is stealing the deal, Theon and Yara along with a few other men who support their claim steal the Greyjoy ships and take off for the East.

Arya, who is still blind, is seen begging in the streets of Braavos. And regularly gets the crap beaten out of her by the Waif (A girl who works for Jaqen H’ghar and hates Arya for no reason at all), when Jaqen H’ghar appears, takes her back in and gives her sight back to her. Arya is given another assassination mission this time, to kill an actress, but Arya fails again, cuz assassination isn’t really her thing and Jaqen H’ghar sends the Waif after her, but to kill her this time.

Arya somehow manages to escape and the two have an awesome chasing scene in the streets, Arya eventually lures the Waif to a room lit only by a single candle, which she slices, leaving the room pitch dark. She then channels her blind fighting skills and kills the Waif. Jaqen H’ghar who is now pleased with Arya’s ability says that the whole thing was a test and you passed, but Arya says Nah, you guys are crazy, I’m going home. And off she goes.

Over in Meereen, where Tyrion and Lord Varys are left in charge of the city. They get to know that the Sons of Harpy are being funded by three surrounding Saver cities, so they go and try to make peace with the owners.

Meanwhile, Daenerys is stuck in a place which is called Dosh Khaleen which is kind of like a club for ex-khals widows to chill and stuff. Daario and Jorah Mormont locate Daenerys and attempt to rescue her from the Dothrakis. But she’s like relax guys, I got this. She meets with the Khals, who mock her, so she’s like take this and burns the entire place down, killing everyone, and she comes out of the meeting room/hut like a boss, unaffected by the flames, obviously. The Dothraki then worship her and join her army.

She returns to the city of Meereen, just as everything was going haywire, with the Slaver cities still causing chaos despite Tyrion’s attempt to make peace. She captures the slaver’s ships and kills two out of three masters, leaving the last one alive to send a message to others. Cuz that’s how Danny rolls.

After arriving from Dorne, Jamie and Bronn go on another mission, this time, to retake Riverrun.

Meanwhile, in King’s Landing, King Tommen and Marjaery have suddenly become super religious and embraced the faith. Well, King Tommen has but Marjaery is mostly just playing along.

On the day of the trial, everyone who is important in King’ Landing is gathered in the Sept of Baelor. Cersei is also supposed to be present there for her trial but is nowhere to be found. Marjaery is quick to guess that something isn’t right but before she can do anything about it, the whole place explodes, leaving everyone inside dead.

Turns out Cersei went nuclear on them with the help of Master Qyburn and the wildfire, proving herself to be as crazy as the Mad King. While all this is happening, Cersei looks on and smirks creepily. King Tommen, stricken with guilt and grief commits suicide by jumping out of a window.

Cersei is now officially out of children. But at least she got a crown out of it! If only we could solve all our problems the way she did!

Ye Bik Gai Hai Cersei — Game of thrones T-shirt

Bran Stark, who was not seen at all in Season 5, makes a rather important comeback this season. He is still hanging around a giant tree though. His training with the three eyed raven is on and he now has even more vivid visions of his family’s past. He first witnesses how the first ever White Walker was created, by one of the children of forest stabbing a prisoner with a Dragon glass dagger, in order to protect themselves aginst the threat of men.

Bran then wargs himself into a tree and witnesses the White Walker army, the Night King sees him and gets to know his exact location. Great! So, now they are coming after him. Hodor tries to protect Bran and Meera from the attack of the white walkers and holds the door for as long as he can. But dies doing it, while Bran and Meera manage to escape. (Here’s a great Hodor tee for you)

Hold The Door — Game of thrones T-shirt

This was probably the saddest death of the series! Both Meera and Bran are about to be slaughtered by the white walkers’ army, when their long lost Uncle Benjen, who we haven’t heard from since Season 1, magically reappears and saves them.

He explains to Bran that he must go on and become the Three eyed Raven now. And leaves him at a tree near the wall, where Bran has another vision of his aunt Lynna, giving birth to Jon snow, she hands the new born baby to Ned Stark right before dying. Yes, Jon snow is half Targeryen half Stark. Moment of truth we’d all been waiting for!

Lord Varys, meanwhile, goes over to Dorne, convinces the Sand Snakes and Lady Olenna to join Daenerys’ side.

Danny meets with Yara Greyjoy and agrees to support her in exchange for using Greyjoy ships for her own cause. She makes Tyrion, Hand of the Queen. She then starts sailing for the West. She’s got Ships, an army, She’s got allies and three big ass dragons!

And that’s how Season 6 comes to an end!

Just kidding, Arya, at the very end of the Season, comes back to Westeros and gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “revenge is a dish best served cold”, though, it’s hot in this case as she actually serves Walder Frey, a pie stuffed with the flesh of his dead sons and right after disclosing her true identity to him, kills him as revenge for the Red Wedding! Savage AF!

And now the season has finally ended!

Stay tuned as we’re also going to keep on updating you about Season 7, episode by episode, as it goes!
