The Mind of the Mad.. Are they really criminals?

Admit it.. A select few of us wanted to be like George Huang from Law and Order: SVU. We ALL wanted to evaluate criminals mind to see what possesses them to do what they do. Just admit it. It seemed like one of the BEST jobs ever. Sitting in the same room as a CRIMINAL. I mean come on, it’s a criminal. They could have committed a crime, or even stole a simple piece of jewelry. Either way, minor or major.. IT’S A FREAKING CRIMINAL.

Now for me, I always wanted to be around dead bodies (yeah I know, weird and creepy), but it was something I wanted to do. I wanted to know the cause of death of people, bring justice to their families. But once I seen my first dead body in PERSON, I was completely creeped out. How could anyone stay in the same room as a dead person? I would feel like the person was actually talking to me and speaking to me. I watched a lot of shows like that, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and BONES. These shows basically made my career. Who wouldn’t want to be in a big FBI or a precinct? That’s legit all I want to do, not for the wrong reasons of course..

But anyway, since dead bodies wasn’t an option, debriefing a criminal was the next best thing. I was going to be able to tell why a criminal becomes a criminal. In my opinion, that’s better than being surrounded by smelly dead bodies. Although there are some dangers of being face to face with a criminal and asking them intense questions, it’s a way to give back to families who lost their loved ones. Who wouldn’t want to bring justice to families? It’s like being a judge, just with less schooling and I won’t be wearing the cool robe.
