With kids in Mallorca
Abbie Ting of Bikinis & Bibs shares her favorite places to play and relax with kids in her home, Mallorca

Style and adventure can exist after having children, and Abbie Ting is the proof. Her blog, Bikinis & Bibs, focuses on glamorous family travel, stylish clothes and so many of the things that are dear to our hearts as traveling parents — what to pack, what to wear, where to go and how to keep the kids happy along the ride. The former travel PR turned blogger moved from London to Mallorca this year and is sharing her favourite tips on how to get the best of the Spanish island with kids right here.

Where to play
There is never a Plaça (or town square) far away in Mallorca. It’s the best place to find other kids and play the Spanish way. This one is in Campos, Southeast Mallorca.

Best beaches
If you’re in Northeast Mallorca, Playa de Muro is a great beach for families of all ages. Calm, turquoise waters and a chiringuito or beach cafe always nearby.
Ponderosa Beach Club on Muro Beach is the perfect laid back family beach club restaurant where you can eat with sand between your toes before heading back to the beach for a post lunch splash.
Ponderosa Beach Club: Casettes des Capellans, 123, 07440 Playa de Muro, Mallorca

Must visit restaurants
The Cassai restaurant in Ses Salines is one of the most stylish family friendly restaurants I’ve come across… and best of all it has a gorgeous boutique across the road especially for the mamas.
Cassai: Carrer Sitjar, 5, 07640 Ses Salines, Mallorca
Ses Covetes Beach is at the far end of the famous Es Trenc Beach in south east Mallorca. It’s my favourite place to take the kids for a sunset swim before eating dinner at the nearby beach restaurant, Bar Esperenza.
Illetas Beach is a good spot in Southwest Mallorca for beach and a delicious family friendly lunch at Balneario Illetas beach club.
Balneario Illetas Beach Club: Paseo Illetas, 52A, 07181 Calvià, Mallorca

What to do
Spanish children love using Mallorca’s rugged coastlines to jump from little rock ledges into the sea. S’almunia Beach is a perfect spot for older kids who’d like to try this.
One of our favourite things to do is hire a rib boat at Colonia De Sant Jordi and go to the otherwise hard to reach beaches along the nearby coastline. Kids love jumping off the boat into the turquoise waters.
Or visit Colonia de Sant Pere, a pretty seaside village with stunning mountain backdrops and a cute little beach for families, and eat lunch by the sea at Sa Xarxa restaurant.
