Anil Dash — Great post! In relation to your overall theme, under the “know your platform” banner, I’ve been very focused on the issue of breaking down social-media silos (comments, posts etc) using structured data snippets that fit into space that supports text. Basically, this can be as small as a Tweet or as large are the kind of space provided by the likes of Facebook, Google+, Medium etc..
Simple live example:
{
<#thisKIComment2016–02–09–1>
a schema:Comment ; schema:name “Kingsley Idehen Comment 2016–02–09 #1” ;
schema:text “““Comment inserted as a nanotation-based note-taking and beyond bookmarking demonstration, in regards to de-silo-fication of data and content in general. By clicking on the links used to construct sentences in this demo you will experience how we can make to move from words to sentences using existing open infrastructure provided by the Web.””” ;
schema:mainEntity <#thisPost> ;
