Understanding Data

This post is partly a test of Medium’s content embedding functionality due to the fact that presentation embedded below is something I initially published in 2014, via slideshare. Anyway, we are reminded everyday that data is big, small, smart, broad, open, and linked, but rarely do we actually encounter attempts to clearly define what it actually is — hence the creation and publication of the presentation embedded below.
