I as an ex felon and a republican conservative believe while i don't think rights should be immediately granted back they should be granted back after 5–7 yrs of staying lawful in Florida i can petition the court to get my right restored after 7 yrs but of course its the whole hassle and red tape of hiring a lawyer petitioning the court waiting for court date and making your case and you can still be denied i do think it should be automatically restored after a set number of years after you serve your time if you stay out of trouble..
