7 Reasons why people in the end do whatever the f**k they want or Not..
Yeah I think we all dream of a Utopia way of living at one point or another during our lives. I think most of us grow up out of watching TV daily, reading the NY times, wasting money in Bars/Restaurants and supporting a truly unsustainable way of Living/Governing, because for the most part it is bullshit. BUT..
In the END.. everybody is at a point in their lives they are, period. Simple matter, If one day an individual or a whole village chooses to “awaken” and join the “cosmic conscious revolution” .. they will, sooner or later.
As you mentioned in your piece, the blindfolds are on and people are comfortable with their way of living, most of them are trying to survive in a very cut throat Capitalist system. Sleep, Eat, Work, Shit, Sleep-> repeat, but also Buy, buy, buy, buy, If you don’t buy, own anything you are nothing, a overpriced home/land, over priced flashy new cars and all the latest in flat-screens, etc so they pipe down information direct to your living room, kitchen, garage or basement.
The following things listed below might shed some light by example instead of blabbing about how “WE” or who ever isn’t doing anything productive with our lives should ACT now.
1. Skills/Education (this kid has all the answers):
2: Better and more sensible urban living/planning:

3. 8 ways to wellbeing

4. Yoga and meditation *a centuries old technique that most people shrub off and consider boring and just for hippies
Since starting my Yoga practice two years ago, doing yoga almost 4 times a week for 10 months non-stop I became more relaxed, sensible, had a stronger physique and improved balance, quicker reflexes, as well as lost weight. If you think its boring you haven’t found the right teacher, try Chandanni’s class in Los Angeles..

5. Leadership by creating community projects..

6. Permaculture/Edible landscapes..
I haven’t created spaces such as these myself but its the way of the future. I have yet to learn this craft. Doesn’t seem that hard, but it does take a love for the land, a “green thumb” as they say.

7. Find an alternative place in your community to learn and connect..
Places such as Greenheart Ibiza offer courses on Permaculture, alternative foods such as Carob syrup, building Rocket stoves for indoor heating and cooking, etc.
