WHY IS IT BETTER TO BE KIND OVER CRUEL, WHY PEOPLE ARE SO MEAN AND STEPS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH MEAN PEOPLE: BY SENTUAL STRONG, AUGUST 27, 2017
There are many types of people who live on this Earth. People usually treat others off of the way others treat them or what they’ve been through. Sometimes people could be nice, sad, anxious, and cruel. This paper will focus on why people are cruel and how to work pass cruelty of others.
One thing to realize is that, when people are cruel more than likely they are either miserable or unfortunate. “People are generally mean because of having a bad day yet a bad background and they do not know what other way to express themselves”, researcher Monica Frank says. Sometimes people also be mean because they want you to be miserable as well and they want you to suffer the way they are. Mean individuals have a strong tendency to watch how good people do and add hurtful comments or even actions unto another individual.
Sometimes people could seem to be mean but their intentions is to just get a point across. When you grow up and live a different lifestyle, catching on people perspectives and how they express their feelings, is a big thing we all need to work on. “Angry, stressed, and emotional wrecked individuals tend to be cruel towards others so they could find a positive space in life by trying to push other people down”, Dr. Knowlton says. Even though their are many factors on why people are so cruel, there is many ways to deal with these encounters.
How to deal with mean people:
- Never let a mean person knows what they’re saying or doing is bothering you, if it is bothering you.
- Try to talk the person about how mean they are and try to convinced them to be more kind towards you as well as others.
- Be kind towards everyone even the mean people because your kindness could shine on them and they might realize that kindness is better than cruelty.
- Be yourself and never let a mean person change you and your differences.
- You could possibly walk away from the ignorance of a person’s and ignore them.
- If talking doesn’t work so well, avoid the cruel individual and tell a trusting person about her or him so your friend could help you deal with the cruel person as well.
- Stay active and surround yourself by positive people so you won’t feel like that life is full of cruel people and you could shine your light to more people.
- If someone is mean to you at a job or school tell the principal or manager about that person. If the teacher and manager are mean, try to talk to them and if that doesn’t work leave and go to a better school or job if possible.
- Try to avoid being mean back to a mean individual if possible because that might even cause more drama or a physical altercation.
- Make speeches, drawings, projects, or even protesting against cruelty so more people could be influence or aware that kindness is stronger than cruelty.
- Try to figure out what makes a person mean and make a commitment to be that person friend so you and that person could get along and see eye to eye with life.
- Lastly, keep on doing good things and don’t stop, when a mean person see that they can’t stop you from living your life and being yourself, they will eventually leave you alone and go away.
These are steps that we all should apply to our everyday lives. Many people could use this paper to try out new steps on how to deal with cruel individuals. Everywhere we go we will run into someone who is mean but that does not mean your or anyone else have to suffer like mean people do. After all something drastic could happen to someone who is mean and that could change them to a nicer person completely. Life is what we make it so never let a mean person stop you from living your life.
