Here’s our Top Family Bike Rides that we think the whole family will enjoy, from the ‘just starting off’ little ones to the ‘I’ve been doing this for years’ older ones.

For the kids, they are nice enjoyable, manageable rides.

For you, as the kids should be finding them relatively easy & will be enjoying themselves, it should remove much of the stress that can often go along with family bike rides 😬

1. LES QUENNEVAIS CYCLE TRACK — Go round the cycle track itself (or veer off on to the wooded path that goes around much of the track). If you’re feeling energetic go round a few times or combine with a ride along the Railway Walk toward Corbiere or St Aubin

2.SANDYBROOK TO BEAUMONT PERQUAGE — Perquages (historic safe passages from the parish church to the sea) are often forgotten but they make great walks & this one is also good for an easy cycle. Start from the Sandybrook end (opposite Paperclix) or the Beaumont end (near Co-Op Bikes)

3.GROUVILLE COMMON TO GOREY PIER — Again, choose an end to start, Grouville Common or Gorey Pier. Maybe have a play at the little playground (near the Common toilets) or have some lunch on the Pier

4. ’ALONG THE FRONT’ FROM TOWN TO ST AUBIN — Join at any part of the cycle track & go as far as little legs can manage. Again, for the energetic, head up the Railway Track at St Aubin. For the less energetic & those with little legs, this ride is always good to combine with a hot chocolate at one of the cafes en route! 😉
