Daydreaming about your baby’s room is no longer an option; now is the time to get your nursery in order, starting with the fundamentals. This is a fantastic adventure! Unfortunately, if you’re embarking on this journey, you may become overwhelmed by the variety of options accessible. That’s why Newton Baby put up this list of nursery basics to help you figure out what you’ll need.

Baby’s Nursery Essentials

Baby Rugs

It’s critical to think about safety when shopping for a rug. Choose a breathable mattress, for the safest sleep environment. It’s fully breathable, pleasant, and machine washable! On the market, we have the only washable crib rug. You can say goodbye to stress and perspiration with our rug ,you can also consider them as gift for your friends baby shower.

After you’ve said your goodbyes to those items, your child can finally have a decent night’s sleep! Newton Baby mattresses are significantly more pleasant than regular mattresses, which are rock-hard and encased in plastic, and babies generally sleep better on them.

You may rest easy knowing that your child isn’t resting on dangerous substances like foam, glue, or latex if you choose the correct mattress.

Swaddles

Your baby is used to being cradled in your warm, comfortable belly. Swaddle your baby during the first few months of their existence to give them that same feeling outside the womb — and to help them sleep better!

To keep your young one safe and comfortable all night, try Baby’s 2-Pack Organic Swaddle. Our swaddles are totally breathable, allowing you to keep an eye on your baby’s temperature as they sleep.

Sheets

It’s fine to forgo the sheet if you’re using a Newton Baby mattress. Even without a sheet, our mattress covers are quite comfortable!

If you’re using a different mattress (or simply prefer to cover your baby’s sleeping area with a fitted sheet), search for sheets that are soft and safe — specifically, breathable.

Newton Baby’s Breathable, Organic Cotton Sheets, for example, allow your baby to breathe freely! The all-around elastic ensures a secure, comfortable fit for any crib mattress!

Nightlight

Add a nightlight to your baby’s nursery to create the tone and help them link darker lights with evening. This nursery staple will also come in handy when you have to rush into the nursery for those late-night feedings!

Pillow for Nursing

You’ll breastfeed your baby at least eight to ten times a day in the early days of his or her existence. If you sum up how long each nursing session lasts, you’ll find that you’ve spent a lot of time sitting for feedings in a single day!

Naturally, you’ll want to be as comfy as possible. A nursing pillow allows you to support your baby in your lap comfortably (and safely!) whether you’re breastfeeding or bottle-feeding.
