UX Design

Created using: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD

Skills used: Interface design, prototyping, SUS forms, personas

Clapboard
Clapboard

“Clapboard” is a design for an online video sharing app similar to YouTube, with a much stronger focus on video genres as seen in apps like Netflix and Vimeo. Before designing the app itself, I gave SUS forms to students, which showed that Vimeo and Netflix’s information architectures were much more positively received than YouTube’s. I also created personas of people who I believed would benefit from the app. I used these personas in a live presentation given to the class.

First Draft
First Draft

“First Draft” is a design for an app aimed at beer connoisseurs looking to try new brews ahead of their mainstream release. For this group project, I worked with two team members to both develop a brand identity and design the app’s interface for both mobile phone and tablet. I focused on designing the tablet interface, and made sure to incorporate all of the elements from my teammates’ mobile version of the app into my design.
