Prelude

Kaleidoscopic Human
Nov 4 · 1 min read

We saw each other across

A space

Endless

Time and colors

Meaningless

Abstract

What was felt

Beyond an imagination

Of “you” or “i” or “we”

Is

In fact

Just that.

The stillness of waves

Crashing against

That primordial ocean

The static in between each tide

The silence in between seagulls

Children laughing

A mother calling after them

A mother screaming after them

Into the water

Her words falter

Into the bliss

Of the ocean

Meeting the shore

Where these points of life ly

Is so far fetched from our eyes

Inconceivable perceivables

When was the last time you cried?

All of this

From a sight

Of seeing you

In those eyes

A love

Stretched miles

An endless water

Drenched in fire

Smoke catching

The stars

of our sky

I paint pictures in the night

Of a swirling Tao

Etched in my mind

What is right?

….

My breath, the wind.

This touch… on skin.

Sand sings ballads from each lover here. What is solid? What is water? This is the softest silk I will ever encounter. The way my hips go unfettered rocking like a ship on your world. A moving anchor blood deep. Realms collide inside. It’s just like that first time… My mind wanders and then I see you. “Where is the opening?”

“Here.” A hand on my heart. He smiles at me.

Just like that first time…
