The Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles to advance to the ALCS.

Texas defeated Baltimore 7–1 in Game 3 of the 2023 Major League Postseason American League Division Series (ALDS, best-of-five) at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on the 11th.

Texas passed the ALDS with three consecutive wins, coming first to the ALCS. It is the first time in 12 years that Texas has entered the ALCS since 2011. Texas will compete against the ALDS winner of the Houston Astros-Minnesota Twins in the ALCS for the World Series.

Baltimore, on the other hand, ended the season in vain with three consecutive losses.

Texas’ Adolis Garcia, Corey Seager and Nathaniel Lowe led the lineup with home runs. Mitch Garber also added one hit and two RBIs. On the mound, starting pitcher Nathan Ivaldi silenced Baltimore’s lineup with five hits, seven strikeouts and one run in seven innings.

Baltimore suffered a lethargic loss as the batting line was silent and starter Dean Kramer collapsed with six runs in 1.2 innings.

Texas took the lead with Seager’s solo home run in the bottom of the first inning. Garber’s two-run double and Garcia’s three-run home run widened the gap to 6–0 in the bottom of the second inning with two outs and a full base chance.

Baltimore, which was being dragged, recovered one point with Gunnar Henderson’s timely hit in the top of the fifth inning with two outs and a runner on second base.

However, Texas added Low’s solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to make it 7–1. 스포츠토토

Texas, where starter Ivaldi kept the mound until the seventh inning, began to solidify the bullpen by operating it from the eighth inning. The game ended with a victory for Texas.
