Just wow. A lot of other people have pointed out that there are serious flaws in your line of thinking, but I just want to add that telling people you don’t believe in a sort of argument, posting a link as to why, but having that link be hidden from everyone who doesn’t automatically agree with you i.e. follow you on Twitter is some seriously problematic and illogical shit. Not the least of which is Twitter is hardly a venue for reasoned discussion.

You know what is really apparent about Jasper and Bismuth? It’s sizeism. There’s even crazy fan theories about how Rose was really evil. Every non original gem that was skinny or small has had a redemption story line, except for the Rubies that were never stuck on Earth.

Just ugh. What the hell do you even watch? When a show that clearly cares about issues of representation and is trying (even if they sometimes miss the mark) isn’t good enough, what are you left with?
