There is categorical statistical proof that the things you dismiss as buzzwords: Oligarchy, Billionaires, Wall Street, Goldman Sachs… they are actually the core problems of our time. Period. It *is* a problem that Democrats and Republicans are practically indistinguishable from one another with the exception of issues that don’t affect their donor’s bottom line. Is it any wonder that every hot-button issue doesn’t impact the majority of large corporations’ profits: LGBTQ rights, abortion, religion, immigration, guns, voter ID. Inconsequential partisan quibbling is required to keep the spotlight off the fact that our governent does not serve us. So call it a “chant” all you want, I call it staying on-message.
