Our Monaco 2017 Grand Prix Adventure
After the success of visiting Monaco in 2016, we decided straight away to launch an even bigger campaign for 2017. Our planning began after arriving home from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November (2016), and after recognizing our growing popularity, we decided to bring a whole new concept to how we would represent our sponsors in Monaco.
You Fish Scotland, Loch Ness Water, Strathearn Distillery, and Jet-Logic, were very excited about the ideas we had for Monaco and quickly signed up as our partners for the global event. All that was then left for us to do was to book the flights, get accommodation, and, of course, order new Ben Wyvis Kilts.
Within a few hours of arriving in Monaco, our team got busy getting our detailed itinerary under way.
After organizing from Scotland the transport of twelve cases of Strathearn Gin, three cases of Strathearn Private Cask Whisky, and a pallet of Loch Ness Water, our product placement of their exclusive brands on the super-yacht Pride was very productive, with fantastic reviews from all who sampled the products, and was an ideal time to talk about the Jet-Logic private jets with the affluent race fans onboard.
On the Friday before the main race, we were kindly introduced to Ross Brawn, the Formula One Managing Director of Motorsports who is renowned as an avid fisherman. He was very interested to hear everything about Scottish fishing and our partners You Fish Scotland.
During this trip, we also managed to meet up with our good friend Eddie Jordan. As always he was a welcoming bundle of energy. We presented him with a commissioned piece from Graham & Leigh, acclaimed creators of racing artwork.
We also received a kind invitation from the Haas F1 Team to have a personal tour of their garage where we met both of their drivers Kevin Magnusson and Romain Grosjean (above).
We also friendly encounters with Red Bull driver Daniel Riccardo (above), and both Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon (below) from Force India.
Overall, Monaco 2017 was our most productive and by far and away our most successful campaign. It was so good that we’re already planning to make next year even bigger and better.
