There are more scholarships out there than people realize. Check out the Who’s Who listing when the time comes. You can get money for *anything*, if you’re willing to apply and write the essays. (And I mean anything — if you’re the blue eyed child of a second generation carpenter who does waltz classes on thursdays, there’s a damned scholarship for it.)

I went to two top ranked colleges for three years a piece (long story) and have less than $40k in debt. And if you work in non-profit or as a teacher, they get forgiven pretty quickly.

I guess what I’m trying to say is…don’t worry too much. Save, but let her be who she is. The funding will come. Trying to force a natural born philosopher to fix air conditioners is not gonna work, down the line. Or vice versa. ❤❤
