This might seem crazy but when I really, really can’t sleep, I get up and take a shower. This serves a few purposes, some physiological, some metaphorical. A hot shower makes your core temp drop, which helps you get sleepy. But the rush of water also symbolically washes some of that anxiety away…

Hopefully you’re asleep before you read this but…if not…try the shower thing, maybe? =(
