Someone’s never been to Lawrence Heights. (I’m referring to the person you’re replying to, Paris Marx.)

I worked a crappy call centre job back in 2008 at Lawrence Square mall by Lawrence West subway. Most of my coworkers there were Black.

The Weston Road area also has a lot of Afro Caribbeans and their businesses, as does Rexdale.

Enclaves of pretty much every ethnic group on Earth can be found in Toronto. Heck, as an Anglo Maltese, Toronto boasts both British import shops AND a Malta Village!

But there’s one type of ethnic group that doesn’t have any enclaves in Toronto. First Nations people. Think of the brutality and irony of that if you consider the shameful history.
