Great article Sarah. Unfortunately I can’t really see it as the future only because it is so seldom that incumbents can wrap their heads around change. Having been part of many industry disruptions (Internet, Space, Cars, Finance, and now food), none of the incumbents came out as a critical part of the solution in the end. They are still around, usually a shell of their former selves, but I just wouldn’t bet on them.

That being said, if you see signs of their real participation in the move to #realfood, please share! I would love to include them in the future of food.
