Yeah, um, no. You’ve entirely missed the point (thus justifying the previous comment that your article is self-defensive).

In reality “ignorant” should replace stupid, but there really should be IQ minimum standards. Of course, IQ testing has been halted (not because it’s culturally biased, but because the powers-that-be didn’t get the results they thought they deserved and declared the tests invalid), so instead all we can focus on is ignorance. How about if, in order to get a voter registration card, you have to pass the basic citizenship test required for immigrants? Or at least be able to spell the word “constitution?”

Forget voting. Stupid people shouldn’t have keyboards.
