As hurtful his words are, you’ve never told him to stop, you’ve never had the courage or understanding to bring it up to him. To you, his drunkenness is a norm, and his words was beyond his control. Or was it that you did not care how I felt by the things said, that you silently agreed because then again, you did not have to the courage to face the realities with me?
