Hi Steve, I get it. You don’t like the article, you don’t like me. You don’t like the fact that I questioned the right of white people (like me) to do whatever they want. I hear your taunts, your name-calling, your condescension. I’m wondering, what’s your end-game here? Do you really think that by shaming me you can put this conversation back in its box? The truth is, I’m not the only one asking questions like this, and certainly not the first or the last. Yes, the comfortable entitlement that we’ve had as white people to do whatever we want without repercussions is coming to an end. You can rail against that reality, or you can embrace it and learn to work with it. And engage respectfully with folks who are talking about it. Good luck on your own work and growth in the world.
