How to Purchase KSWAP Token with Metamask
Welcome KimchiSwap friends and lovers!
We have compiled a complete guide on how to participate here, but we thought we’d make it easier and faster for you to buy your KSWAP tokens using MetaMask.
MetaMask is more than just an Ether wallet, it is more an Ethereum browser that allows you all the same functions, features and ease of access from regular Ethereum Wallets, and all without the need to download the blockchain or install any software. With MetaMask, you can just install it as a Google Chrome Extension, Android and now iOs App, and you’re good to purchase those tokens you’ve been wanting to buy.
What do you need before you buy?:
To follow this guide, you will need:
1. A web browser. (we recommend a PC or Mac with Chrome Browser & Metamask Extension)
2. A certain amount of ether in the account that you control. Please notice, only ETH will be accepted for the KimchiSwap Tokensale.
Getting Started
If you don’t have a ERC20-compatible address to send from, or ether (ETH) to contribute, start from Step 1. Otherwise, go to Step 5.
Step 1: Creating an account
Type “metamask chrome extension” in to Google, and click the link that begins with https://chrome.google.com. You will be taken to the install page, where you can click “Add to Chrome”.
Click create or import your wallet if you have a seed phrase.
You will be prompted to create a secure password for your Metamask account. Make sure that the Ethereum Main Net network is selected (top left corner) — As Seen in the image below.
Step 3: Importing an Account
If you have a private key or JSON file for a wallet already, you can import that wallet in to Metamask.
Simply click the top right coloured circle button at the top right, next to the ‘Main Ethereum Network’, choose “Import Account”.
You will need to input your raw private key into the “private” key field, or the typical JSON keystore file. Otherwise, you can select Create Account to generate a new one.
Step 4: Getting Ether
To be able to participate in the token sale, you will need to have some ether (ETH) in an account that you control. You can buy ETH from different cryptocurrency exchanges .
Extremely Important Security Reminder
· DO NOT send ETH directly from an exchange to the token sale, otherwise your tokens might never be recovered.
· There is no need to increase default gas price (or the value you are used to). Unless there is an unusual traffic in the Ethereum network, 100–120 GWEI should be enough to get the transaction confirmed in a few minutes and we will be changing this as per gasstation prices daily to ensure your transactions are successful.
Step 5: Buying KSWAP Tokens
The Tokensale is open until the 19/10/2020, or earlier if the 30 Million allocated tokens are all sold.
Select the amount of KSWAP you would like to purchase in increments of
0.10 ETH. The minimum purchase is 0.10 ETH currently and the amount
of KSWAP you will receive back to your metamask wallet will be revealed underneath as you change your ETH amount. Click the Buy token with metamask and hit confirm in the metamask pop-up UI (the blue button)

The final step is to add the KSWAP token to your MetaMask, so you can see your balance. Click “Add Token”, and paste in the following information:

Decimals: 18 — this will auto-populate
Token Symbol: KSWAP — this will auto-populate
And that’s it!
When your transaction has been mined and entered into the blockchain, you will be able to see it under “Tokens” in your Metamask account.
