This week I learned about Tom Friedman who is an American Journalist, Columnist and Author. We watched a video in class where he was the keynote speaker for the MIT Milestone celebration back when the video was made in 2008. Tom was speaking about the global economic plain field is flat or in other words leveled. He wrote a book back in 2005 entitled “The World is Flat” and explains his inspiration for the book and how it was written on accident. Mr.Friedman covers topics in his speech from globalization to the evolution of computers to the iron rule of business and covers education of liberal arts. I have learned a lot from his speech and he has become an inspiration for me to make a change in the world as he did with his books and columns.
