My heart breaks for you and your family, especially your Mom, as a Mother myself I cannot imagine the loss of a child. The insensitive comments of others are like knives in open wounds that may never fully heal. Drug use and drug abuse is no laughing matter….and addiction is a disease. It’s unfortunate that families have loved ones who have an addiction and they find through it all that all they can do is love them, pray, and keep pleading with them to help themselves. It’s up to them to change, not us.

Now on to the rest….

I have actually stopped posting on social media (FB, Twitter, etc) much. I found that I couldn’t be myself..like I was censored. If I wasn’t getting insensitive comments from people I didn’t know, I was getting calls from family members being nosey and judgemental. I stayed in a constant state of tension and anger. Finally I decided it wasn’t worth it and stopped posting. Thankfully I found Medium!!
