The last scene of the show made all the difference to my husband and I. We had watched addictively over the course of about 5 nights. The whole time saying out loud how great each actor was in turn. We loved the John Turturro character and we were 99.9% sure that deep down he was a good guy. The last scene in the living room was great. The whole time we were saying, “What about the cat??” When the shelter ads came on TV, we were like, “No! This is so over the top. They aren’t going to do this to us, are they? Are they?! John walks out the door. Without a cat carrier. NO!! What about the CAT!? That last scene was a great example of the clever unpredictability of the entire show. James Gandolfini would would be proud!
