How to beat overwhelm and procrastination.

Today’s challenge of beating overwhelm and procrastination is perfect because it’s exactly what I have been feeling and doing lately. I have just started learning about Google AdWords and holy cow that is a lot of information to know. I have noticed that I haven’t been working on it much since I become overwhelmed every time I try to get into it. This trend needs to end as I am at a stand still with releasing my ecommerce store because of it. To overcome this frustration and more frustrations to come I am going to start writing a daily progress report of my journey.

This daily report will include what I did today and what I plan to do tomorrow. I have been toying with the idea of doing this for a while now, but just haven’t started. I think it scares me a little to put out my plans as I will then feel more accountable to complete them, but of course that is the point! I truly believe if I did this for thirty days I would get so much more done as currently I am not accountable by anyone except for myself. I have some soft goals in my mind that aren’t written anywhere, but that isn’t doing anyone any good, it’s almost like giving myself an out if I need a break. Break time needs to end and I need to hold myself more accountable and work through the difficult times, it will get easier and I will look back and wonder what the hold up was.
