Our Beliefs: Back to the basics
In order for decentralized financial tools to reach the masses,
we need to get back to the basics. Collectively we must evolve beyond the current state of affairs in crypto and recommit to democratizing access to both financial tools and opportunity. We must move beyond skyhigh APRs and ponzinomics and towards generating Real Yield for investors and stakeholders. If we wish to see a day when crypto is widely adopted and viewed as more than a highly speculative asset, we must meet business, users, and investors where they are. We believe that utilizing multi-chain infrastructure tools such as Enterprise (Terra) and combining it with a robust ecosystem (Kujira) that King DAO will build a foundation that effectively merges the best of TradFi and DeFi and paves a way towards building a future where crypto is widely adopted.

Creating Real Value
Treasury Diversification
As a DAO, we maintain its essential to diversify our treasury and craft a path towards responsible and sustainable growth. Look for King DAO to utilize products/protocols such as CALC Finance, ORCA, Stride and more. We expect our community to bring forth and enact a multitude of defi strategies that will grow our treasury.
Multi-Chain
King DAO is built upon Enterprise (DAO tooling) but not limited to the Terra Blockchain. We believe in order to grow our Treasury (Warchest), it’s essential we have a presence deep in to the Cosmos and beyond. We’ve long admired the work of Team Kujira and believe their ethos aligns with ours. For that reason, we believe it is best to plant deep roots in the Kujira ecosystem and prepare to grow our presence throughout the Cosmos post launch.
Collaboration & Partnerships
We must move beyond the rampant tribalism we all experience on a daily basis in web3. King DAO welcomes and celebrates collaboration and will actively pursue mutally beneficial partnerships. Whether a startup looking for seed funding or a well established protocol looking to partner, we’re open for business and look forward to creating mutually beneficial relationships.
Validator/web3 Services
Soon after we launch, you can expect to see proposals to launch our validator services. We’ll agressively pursue additional revenue streams (newsletters, consulting, and more) to ensure real value is being created for our investors and stakeholders.
Investment SubDAO (more below)
As King DAO grows, look for us to open up an Investment SubDAO that actively invests in both TradFi and DeFi projects. This is a great way to ensure value is coming back to our community while fortifying the entire ecosystem by helping great projects and teams launch in the Cosmos and beyond.
Senate
While we’re staunch believers in decentralization, we’ve seen governance hinder projects in a multitude of ways. From whales controlling the vote, politics, and rushed props to weeklong telegram battles that cause division in the community, its clear governance needs to be revamped. In the future, King DAO will move more towards a Senate model (Kujira) that will enable better coordination (+ speed of development) while still maintaining our core values.

The Investment SubDAO — The best of both worlds
A major focus of KingDAO will be the Investment SubDAO. From seed funding to micro loans, our goal is to build a portfolio of investments/holdings in both web3 and real world businesses that allow our stakers to take part in the upside of said projects. From helping vet applicants to Q&A’s with prospective teams, KingDAO will actively look to invest in projects and teams we believe will drive value to our community. Whether you’re a brick and mortar business or a web3 startup, we want to hear your pitch and help grow your business. The King Investment SubDAO will not strictly rely on inflation and speculation + narratives to drive value to our community.
Post launch, we’ll seek investments in new and exciting protocols building on Kujira and other Cosmos chains. Example, if in existence during Wink’s Pilot launch, King DAO would of loved to create a prop for our community to vote on to acquire $WINK tokens via a treasury spend/investment or POL swap.

Launch Plans
As mentioned above, we feel strongly aligned with the Kujira ecosystem and have began our conversations with the Fuzion team with the goal of hosting a launch on Pilot. Of course, we wish to list on FIN and create a pool on BOW as well as utilize Calc and others for our treasury diversification plans. As many of you know, Kujira has a well rounded ecosystem of products, a strong community, and a dev team that consistently delivers top-notch products. We look forward to working with the Fusion team to launch and collaborating with a host of protocols and projects building on Kujira.
