Hey Ben, love this. I’ve been journaling for years and really like how you expressed that it is a tool of inner gazing, analysis and coping with negative thoughts. Well done. The self loathing part ties nicely into “The imposter syndrome.” I’ve suffered from this pathology and it’s nice to cage it on a page to lay it bare and take away it’s power.

I like the idea of going analog on this as a way to impose a speed limit on it and encourage retrospection. I journal digitally but I might go with a pen for this benefit.
