This Bible study has been taken from Dr. Andrew Nkoyoyo’s best-selling book “Working The Works of God”.
IN 1986, I HAD A GLORIOUS VISITATION from the Lord Jesus Christ, which led to my conversion. In that supernatural experience, He told me to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. He also told me to raise up unto God an army in this end time. Since that sacred experience, I have had the honor of playing a major part in transforming my home country of Uganda through all-night prayer meetings, intercession and repentance as part of a countrywide prayer campaign. I have also had the honor of pioneering over 90 churches and ministries worldwide to date and ministering in numerous major crusades, conferences and schools of the ministry.
Because of the calling that I have been blessed to fulfill, I have been sacrificially dedicated to reaching the world with the love and compassion that reaches through stony hearts and into the spirit man.
Do you desire to do the works of God? Are you longing to step out of the mundane and into the supernatural, miracle-working power of God? Do you want to walk in the power and ability that the early church walked in? Today, I am dedicated to helping you transform your world. I am dedicated to training and equipping you to reach your community, your city, and your spheres of influence with fruitful results, under the unlimited power of the Holy Spirit. I am totally dedicated to helping you work the works of God.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.’ (Mark 16:15)
The works of God begin here. The command of Jesus to “preach the Gospel to every creature” was not for His disciples alone, but also for us, the Church. With this commission to preach came an empowerment and equipping that would enable us all to reach the world beyond our own personal ability. This empowerment went beyond the works and ability of man. It crossed over from our own mortal strength into the supernatural ability of God.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. (Mark 16:17–18)
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:12)
The keys to supernatural ministry are in your hands. Now that we can clearly see these promises, it is time for us as believers to shake the spirit of lethargy, complacency and compromise off of ourselves. It is time to come out of our hiding places and begin to demonstrate the spirit and power of Almighty God.
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. (1 Corinthians 2:4)
WHAT SHALL WE DO?
The disciples asked Jesus this great question:
What shall we do, that we may work the works of God? (John 6:28)
This practical and insightful book was written to answer this question. I pray that by the time you finish reading, you will have new understanding, faith and fresh anointing to fulfill His call upon your life. You will be challenged to go past the place of desiring blessings and talking in tongues to a new level of power. Yes, you will be able to work the works of God. In the name of Jesus, you will cast out demons, heal the sick and deliver the bound and oppressed. Through you, it will be proven that Jesus is exactly who He declares to be the resurrected Lord and Savior of all who call upon His name.

Dr. Nkoyoyo exposes the lies and accusations of the devil against God’s saints. He presents the biblical truth that makes us free to be the man or woman that God has called us to be. It is time now for all the saints and ministers to receive their inheritance… by working the works of God.”
