chipping away what is not me.
Lauren Hasha

Beautiful piece and very relateable, even if one didn’t go through divorce. I think, all hardships in life have the same effect — making us feel insecure about ourselves and forcing us to come to terms not only with who we want to be, but who we have been. So yes, writing is healing me too. It’s healing me, because it’s the filter I need to not go crazy under the pressure of chipping away what is not me.

Thanks for writing this Lauren — has truly given me an inspirational start into another day of prioritizing my own happiness!
