The Weird Redemption of SF’s Most Reviled Tech Bro
Lauren Smiley

The homeless are real people. They are more than victims for administrators to manage. Greg Gopman is a wonderful young man with a heart. He is working to empower them, so they can manage their own lives. God bless him. I have always resented the idea that well off people should come to homeless shelters and serve meals. It makes the homeless objects of pity. They can serve their own meals. The problem is how to engage the charity givers to do what Greg is doing — help them help themselves.
