Hey there! Will you eat that frog with a pomodoro..?

No… you are shocked. Don’t tell me if you are not. Its not what you are thinking. But its okay to be shocked as I was also when I heard this quotation first time.

Actually, pomodoro is a Italian word for tomato and I am talking about a Pomodoro Technique that is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Let’s see how it works.

For many people, time is an enemy. We race against the clock to finish assignments and meet deadlines. The Pomodoro Technique teaches you to work with time, instead of struggling against it. A revolutionary time management system, it is at once deceptively simple to learn and life-changing to use.

My first experience with pomodoro technique was really great and I found it very helpful to save my time while completing my tasks.

It also gives me strength to focus on my work and be away from distractions i.e mobile, facebook, etc.

I choose my online project to be completed using pomodoro technique. I set the timer of 25 minutes and placed my mobile away from me. After every 25 minutes of work I took 5 minutes of break and put a star on paper. And surprisingly I completed my work in less time than I usually do.

I advise all of you not only procrastinators like me to try this technique if you wished to manage your time or want to complete your tasks without being bored or tired. Its really interesting!!!
