Thanks for your prescriptive Daniel. My point of view as far as the terminology is concerned is that it’s very different from slapping on an AI tag. As I mention in my post (and so do the others referred in my article) — data is useless without context and the ability to do something with it.
From my perspective, and in HR, it’s important to bring engagement, employee data and insights into one platform for it to be intelligent and useful. And to add some more context, unless there’s a comprehensive employee data management platform — there’s no way you can have AI or ML be useful for the organization.
