Why Mars may not Perpetuate Human Race

As we prepare to become a multiplanet species by traveling Mars, we need to understand the possibility of perpetuating human race in unfavorable conditions unlike the Earth.

I will pick the example which i thought is most relevant to this story. Imagine the complexity that's involved in conceiving a baby on Earth.

First the mothers body cycles have to become in perfect sync with the Moon 🌒, this is 28 days.

All humans that were ever born perfectly was due to this arithmetic being spoton.

If we look at Mars, there are two moons unlike earth has namely Phobos and Deimos which have cycles roughly 6hrs and 30 hrs which are much smaller than our 🌒 cycles.

Given this small orbit time and the fact that life we know does not exist currently in Mars, this could well indicate the conditions will not be conducive for human life on Mars.

This question remains whether human life can be perpetuate outside without the help of our Mother Earth.

We need to understand and respect the opportunity to be alive now on the most favorable planet ever known to us.
