2016 New Year’s Resolutions

My list of New Year’s resolutions isn’t much different from any other list you’re going to read, but I figure if I make them public I’ll have some advantage in accomplishing them.

  1. No soda. — I already more or less do this, but it’s something I want to emphasize moving forward.
  2. No nail biting. — It’s a disgusting habit. I hate that I bite my nails. It’s time to stop.
  3. Eat better. — College hasn’t been great for my diet or my waistline. I’m ready to think more about what I eat.
  4. Code everyday. — Making coding a passive habit is something I’m proud I did in 2015, but I’m ready to take it to the next level.
  5. Read more. — This is something I say I’m going to do every year and fail miserably. Hopefully 2016 will be my year of success.
  6. Begin meditating. — I’m not going to set the bar too high, but I know I’ll benefit from meditating, so I’m give it a try.

I’m going to track my resolutions with the Way of Life app. I’ve tried several apps in this category, and I like this app’s UI by far the best.
