“Books are the most under-valued and under-appreciated technology in the world.”

Books are a medium not a technology. Books are how we receive technology. It would be like saying the ups box I received my iphone in is a technology. Words are the fundamental technology of thought, if we want to analogize Technology with Tools.

Good article overall. But with all these “pro book” articles I’ve seen over the past few years, I’ve noticed a lack of respect for The Word. Perhaps it’s inevitable and the word for Book is simply changing.
