Have you ever felt lost in the vast expanse of your life, unsure of your purpose and constantly seeking validation from others? If you have, you’re not alone. In fact, I’ve been there, and I’m here to tell you that it’s perfectly okay. As I approach my 30th birthday, I still haven’t figured it all out, and I’ve come to realize that’s alright. In this article, we’ll explore the reasons behind why we feel lost at times and discover strategies to cope with this universal experience.

From my school days, I carried a burning desire to do something extraordinary, coupled with an insatiable thirst for validation. It was as though I needed others to confirm my worth and the path I was on. Perhaps you can relate to this constant pursuit of approval, a journey that often leads to feeling lost.

As time passed, I learned an invaluable lesson: the importance of living in the present. While it’s undeniably challenging, the power of self-talk became my greatest ally. I discovered that I could convince my mind that it’s perfectly acceptable not to have it all figured out. The past and the future should not overwhelm the beauty of the present.
