I have to tell you, being asked to write this summary was such a good experience for me. I’m at that stage in the book where all the subplots (and there aren’t even that many; I just get overwhelmed easily) are starting to build and overlap and aaaaaghhhhhh splat. Having to bare bone the main plot helped me remember to grasp the lifeline of the book more firmly.
